Well, we didn't actually buy a heat magazine, we just saw the Spice Girls instead.
Yes, I know you're jealous.
You should be.
The seat's were amazing, they were amazing, everything was amazing apart from the location of the 02 arena/millennium dome - Seriously, whoever put that thing there, you are stupid for not looking at the transport there. £30 in a taxi to go across the river. Anyway let's not put a damper on things, the taxi driver spoke funny so it's OK!
Yesssss, so London was great, managed to get up early enough for the mega bus. Mc Donald's breakfast - Gooooood. Journey wasn't too bad. Shops were so good! Although a little busy on Sunday, so after spending time and money in topshop/topman (Which was massive!) We wandered around a few more shops and then decided to retire to the hotel at around 3ish because we had to find it and we thought it would take a while. Oh a little side not, the apple shop on Regent Street is truly amazing! Free use of everything for as long as you want, never have to pay for an Internet cafe, and got a go on the i-phones. Now that's how a shop should be!
So anyway decided to find the hotel which was the London Docklands Travelodge, We worked out the tube fairly quickly although on the way to the hotel we took a slight wrong way but all was corrected as we got off and got on the correct one within ten minutes. Found the hotel fairly quickly, booked in, chilled out, wandered round, chatted to some English people who were going to the Spice Girls too, then decided to get food. In this process the room card disappeared from me, but they gave us another - No questions asked.
Restaurant didn't start serving food until 6, and we needed to be at the 02 but 6:30 so we decided to leave for the 02 and find food there. We wandered in the general direction of the o2 but discovered there was the River Thames in the way, and no boats were running across it. We had to get a taxi round which in the end cost £30 but was good value for the journey and the taxi driver was friendly and nice. Got to the o2 and it was so busy! Wandered around outside the actual arena, and that place is massive! So much stuff in what seems like a fairly small place. Bought a warm hot dog with hard bread because we thought it was the only fast food place, but when we got inside there was a million different vendors, and bought some nice chips. Took our seats, they were amazing! And then proceeded to sit there for at least an hour and a half, although time flew with the excitement! When they came on stage it was amazing amazing amazing! The concert went very fast and the dancing and singing and everything you could tell had been well planned and not just thrown together. For some reason the crowd went mental every time(which wasn't many) that Victoria Beckham had a solo line to sing, even though she's the worst singer! How peculiar.
Anyway, after that the crowds left, bit of a kefuffle with the tube home, as we planned on just getting to the other side but turns out we could get a tube directly home, waste of £30! Got back messed about, watched tv, ladedaaa, went to sleep. Good day!
Next day up nice and early, and because I'm bored of this blog I'm just going to write a summary - Camden, Breakfast(cup of coffee yum!), shopping in Camden, Harrods - Too busy and annoying to walk around with bags, Oxford Street and surrounding areas, Hamleys! - Must admit, it was much better last time I went, more shops, this and that, Tube to Victoria Station, pottered around, got lost from friends, only just made it to Coach station with my £3.30 bagel and £2.20 Coffee, bus home was fun, home, sleep.
Well trip was fun, I liked London a lot more now, as before it was just a fun different place, but now it's a prospective place to live. I can see why it's good for business being there. I want to go back again!
